Reluctant Reader Corner

My reluctant reader has been reading more lately and I may have found his niche, thanks to his teacher. Mysteries and Science! He loves them. A new series we explored was the "The Data Set" by Ada Hooper. This series follows the misadventures of a young trio, who use their science knowledge to solve problems and escape when their adventures go awry. Snappy dialogue, a mad scientist friend and mini-beasts that come to life made it a page turner for my reader. The illustrations were great and kept the magic alive.
