Activity: Practice shapes with your kids! Create a large cow and write different sentences on paper strips. Each sentence should say " I want a ________________ blanket". Fill in the blank with different shapes. Then make small blankets with construction paper and draw a different shape on each. Put the strips in a bowl or can, and have your child choose a strip. They read the strip and then match the shape. A fun way to practice shape identification.
