Chicken Soup for the Soul...from an Egg

I enjoy perusing the Caldecott Medal section at our children's library. That golden seal signals that we're going to read a book that teaches a lesson through interesting characters and cute illustrations. This book, by Caldecott Medal winner Dan Santat, doesn't disappoint. As we approach the new year and are thinking about "resolutions", I recommend After The Fall. This book follows Humpty Dumpty as he faces his fears. Can't we all relate to that? I think it's a valuable read for both kids and adults :)
