Fun with Ed and Fred is a cute book that follows the very opposite experiences Ed and Fred have in various scenarios. The pattern of Ed’s good luck and Fred’s bad luck is not only a riot to my 1st grade son, but it reinforces sight words while introducing some trickier ones. We get the giggles from this one...laughing about what we know is going to happen next as we yell to Fred to change the outcome! This book boasts that it teaches 50+ sight words yet it feels like a "dessert" for both of us.
