This charming book about the amazing variety of animals in the world is a great anytime read. The vibrant colors appeal to readers of all ages, and my boys enjoyed naming the animals they knew. Emerging readers will enjoy the consistent pattern and simple word choice. My budding scientist enjoyed discussing the types of animals and reading the author's letter about being kind to the animal world.
